How Does It Work?

FlazHost sells and manages domain names through an trusted registrar. You purchase a domain from FlazHost, and the system automatically registers it with the registrar — including DNS management, auto-renewal, and ownership verification.

Workflow: Search domain → pay → system registers with registrar → domain active → manage DNS and settings from dashboard.

How to Order a Domain

Search & Buy New Domain

Use the domain search in the FlazHost dashboard. Enter your desired name, check availability and pricing for various TLDs (.com, .id, .net, .org, .my.id, etc.). After payment, the domain is registered immediately.

Transfer Domain

Move an existing domain from another registrar to FlazHost. You'll need an EPP code (authorization code) from your current registrar. Transfer usually completes in 5–7 days.

Automatic Renewal

Domains are automatically renewed before expiry. Renewal invoices are issued at H-30, H-14, and H-7. If unpaid, the domain enters a grace period before being released.

Multi-Registrar Support

FlazHost supports multiple registrars (registrar) to ensure domain registration availability and redundancy.

DNS Management

Manage DNS records directly from the dashboard: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV. Easy to use with fast propagation.

DNS Sync & Cache

DNS data is cached locally for fast access. A "Sync" button refreshes data from the registrar. Cache is non-authoritative — the registrar is the source of truth.

Nameserver & Glue Host

Change nameservers as needed. Create glue records for custom nameservers.

EPP Code & Transfer

Get EPP codes for outgoing transfers. Incoming transfers via registrar require EPP authorization from the old registrar.

Automatic RAA Verification

After registration, ICANN requires owner email verification within 15 days. The system sends an automatic email.

DNS Record Management

Manage DNS records directly from the FlazHost dashboard. Full record type support: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV. Features:

• Create/Edit/Delete — Add, modify, or delete DNS records anytime
• DNS Sync — Synchronize DNS data between FlazHost and registrar for accuracy
• DNS Init — Initialize default DNS zone with basic records (NS, SOA)
• Reset Nameserver — Restore nameservers to FlazHost defaults

Glue Records (Hosts)

Create and manage glue records for custom nameservers. Glue records are required if you want to use your own nameservers (e.g. ns1.yourdomain.com).

• Create Host — Add new glue record with name and IP
• Update Host — Change existing glue record IP
• Delete Host — Remove glue record

Nameserver Management

Change domain nameservers anytime. Supports transfer to/from FlazHost default nameservers or third-party custom nameservers.

EPP Code (Transfer)

Get EPP codes for outgoing domain transfers. You can also set new EPP codes for extra security. EPP codes are verified during inter-registrar transfers.

Domain Availability Check

Check domain availability in real-time from the order page: enter a domain name, select TLD, system checks if the domain is available for registration.

RAA Verification

After registering a new domain, ICANN requires owner email verification. If the verification email does not arrive, you can request resend from the dashboard.

Pricing Engine

Domain prices are determined by registrar wholesale cost + FlazHost markup. The system automatically updates catalog prices.

• TLD Cost — Wholesale cost per TLD from registrar
• Markup — Configurable markup percentage per TLD
• Catalog Rebuild — Selling prices recalculated and written to catalog_plans

Auto-renewal

Domains are automatically renewed. Renewal invoices are issued at H-30, H-14, H-7. If paid, the domain is renewed without interruption. A generic billing engine handles ALL services.

Multi-Registrar Sync

FlazHost supports multiple registrars with auto sync: DNS/domain data synced periodically, TLD prices rebuilt to catalog_plans, and fallback if one registrar fails.
